Cherry Diesel flowers in about 8–9 weeks, and SeedFinder lists MTG Seeds’ version at about 60 days.1,2,3 Growers quoted by Leafly describe bushy, multi-branched plants with close internodes and dense, sticky buds; Weedmaps says it suits indoor or outdoor growing but does best in open, sunlit outdoor spaces.1,2

What the plant is like
Growers quoted by Leafly describe bushy, multi-branched plants with close internodes that flower into dense, fragrant, sticky buds; Weedmaps describes dense, sticky flowers with a potent cherry aroma and large, resin-covered buds.1,2 AllBud describes bright neon-green, grape-shaped nugs with orange hairs and golden trichomes.7
ApeOrigin, whose version comes only as feminized seed, says the plant likes to be grown in a sea of green and takes a lot of fertilizer but also thrives without it.4
What to watch for
Few sources discuss problems. ApeOrigin advises a somewhat rain-protected spot for outdoor plants.4 MTG Seeds says years of male-female breeding have removed hermaphrodite tendencies and strengthened mold and mildew resistance in its lines, a claim made for its whole catalog rather than for Cherry Diesel in particular.8
Seeds and the law in the US
Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.9 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.9,10 Home cultivation rules are set by each state.
